A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE ARTIST

1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).

I have been blissfully retired for 5 1/2 years. The extra time has allowed me to fervently explore my creative side in several mediums.

2. Why do you make art?

I make art because I cannot not make art. All artists understand this feeling and the visceral urge to create.

3. What inspires you?

Nature for sure, and color! There is so much beauty on the earth that just screams to be represented.

4. What/who are your influences?

I have always been pulled toward the impressionists. There are a couple of modern artists - Brodinsky and Duaiv, whom I greatly admire.

5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?

I would love to meet Van Gogh and let him know his creations were embraced and that he mattered.
